Sometimes i just don't understand
Is it so difficult to be punctual ??
I am a person who always plans out my time and always be punctual for everything unless sometimes crops up
but i don't understand
why are people always late
Everytime i went out with my class , i would at least need to wait for them for 30 minutes
Like yesterday , we have a class chalet
and we are suppose to meet at 3pm at pasir ris
i reach at 2.55pm
my travel time is like 1 and a half hour and i still make an effort to reach early
but what did i get in the end ..
i waited for 30 minutes for the first classmate to reach
and spend another 20 minutes waiting for others
whats the point of being early
when other's don't even bother to be punctual
this is not the first time either
countless time
more than what my finger can count
why are people so inconsiderate
can't they just make an effort to be punctual
if they are late for 10minutes
i am fine
but 30 minutes is too over
i am like standing there like a stone
waiting for more than 30minutes
why are they so inconsiderate
they should at least think about those who are early
waiting for them
i feel that i am a fool
waiting for them everytime
where they don't even feel sry
but i just do not like the feeling of being late

but it's a good thing, because being tardy is really a bad habit and it isnt good, esp when we go out to work in the future.

I have the same trouble with people as well. I'm punctual almost to a fault, but my very good friends can be late for up to three hours. So I just learn to go with it and meet hours later than the appointed time.

@iridescence i was really pissed at that moment but got over it in a while .. since we are there to enjoy so i did not mention about it

Yeah man. Up to three hours; sometimes more. I've fallen out with one of them for giving stupid excuses. If they want to waste their time, it's fine; don't waste others'.
Anyway...maybe you should consider going to the meeting points later than the appointed time, if this continues on.

punctunality is a rare good habit nowadays...keep it up regardless what others do...
at time, I will supposedly make myself late knowing that the friend that I'm meeting will be late. Guess what, she still get there later than me...

yeah.. sometimes i wonder why too.. ppl just laze around too much.. we all experience waiting for friends..
when i was in poly, a couple of my friends are like that.. the solution? give them a earlier meeting time.. say u r suppose to meet at 3. Tell them u are meeting at 2.30 instead..

waiting for ppl for long period of time is really FRUSTRATING !
But you cant control ppl unless they are close to you then you can tell them not to be late in the future and stuff .
But at least you have a really good habit ! keep it up (:
